The story
Why we do both
Windsor Photo and Video Co. is a photography and videography studio based in Windsor, Ontario, founded by Mohit Sharma after more than ten years behind a camera.
The studio exists because of a problem we kept watching couples run into. They would book a photographer they loved and a videographer they loved, and end up with two beautiful sets of memories that did not look like they came from the same wedding — different colour, different instincts, and two crews quietly negotiating for the same corner during the ceremony.
So we do both. One team covering the stills and the film together, planning the angles in advance, grading everything the same way. Fewer people in your day, and one coherent record of it at the end.
We agree your delivery timeline when you book, so there are no vague promises and no wondering where your photographs are.
Cultural weddings
Every ceremony, done properly
A significant part of our work is photographing and filming Sikh weddings and South Asian engagements across Windsor and Essex County — and it shows in how we plan a day, not just how we shoot it.
Multi-day, multi-event weddings do not fit neatly into an eight-hour package, and we do not try to force them into one. Early morning Anand Karaj ceremonies, milni, the reception, and the family portrait sessions that come with a large extended family are planned around the full schedule, with coverage hours built to match — not a standard block that runs out halfway through the day.
Across more than ten years and seven-plus cultures photographed, the constant has been the same: know the ceremony before you show up to shoot it.

We plan around your day, not a package
Coverage hours are built from your actual schedule. Multi-day and cultural weddings are planned around the full run of events rather than a standard eight-hour block.
We stay out of the way
The frames people keep are almost never the ones anybody posed for. We direct when it helps and disappear when it does not.
One grade across everything
Photographs and film are colour treated together, so your gallery and your video feel like one piece of work.

Delivery timelines are agreed when you book, so nothing about the process is a guess.
Where we work
Windsor and Essex County
We are based in Windsor and shoot across the county — Willistead Manor and the streets of Walkerville, the Windsor riverfront and Dieppe Gardens, the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, Caesars Windsor, Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery in Harrow, and out through LaSalle, Tecumseh, Amherstburg, Belle River, Kingsville and Leamington.
Knowing the region matters more than it sounds. Where the light falls at seven in the evening in September, which parks are quiet on a Saturday, how long it really takes to move a wedding party from a church in Walkerville to the riverfront — that knowledge is the difference between a relaxed day and a rushed one.
We travel elsewhere in Ontario, and across the border, on request.

Do you shoot photography and videography yourselves?
Yes. Photography and video are covered by the same team rather than subcontracted to a separate vendor, which is what allows one consistent look across your images and your film.
