Weddings in Essex County

Most couples book a photographer and a videographer. Then spend the day watching them work around each other.

How we work

Photo and video, planned as one

We cover your wedding as a single team shooting both stills and film. That means one timeline, one set of angles worked out in advance, and one colour treatment across everything you receive — so your photographs and your wedding film actually look like they came from the same day.

It also means fewer people in your ceremony. No second vendor stepping into frame, no two crews negotiating for the same spot during your first look.

What a wedding booking includes

  • Coverage planned around your actual schedule, not a fixed eight-hour block
  • Photography, videography, or both from the same team
  • Full colour grading across photos and film
  • A full wedding film plus a highlight reel where video is booked

Cultural weddings

Sikh, Punjabi and South Asian weddings

A big part of our wedding work is Sikh and South Asian celebrations across Windsor and Essex County, alongside Hindu and Muslim weddings. These days rarely fit a standard package, so we don’t force them into one.

Early morning Anand Karaj ceremonies at the gurdwara, the milni, the reception and the large family portrait sessions that come with them are planned around your full schedule, with coverage hours built to match — across one day or several.

A typical day

How wedding coverage runs

Every wedding is different, but this is the shape most days take. We build your actual timings around yours.

Morning

Getting ready

Details, dress, rings and the quiet moments before anyone is watching. We usually split coverage between both parties where the locations allow.

Midday

First look & ceremony

Photographed and filmed simultaneously, planned in advance so neither camera ends up in the other's frame.

Afternoon

Portraits

Family groups first while everyone is together, then time with just the two of you. We scout the light at your venue beforehand.

Evening

Reception

Entrances, speeches, first dance and the part of the night people actually remember. Coverage runs as late as you have booked.

After

Delivery

Your gallery, and your film where video is booked, delivered on the timeline agreed at booking.

Where we shoot

Windsor and Essex County venues

We shoot weddings across Windsor and the surrounding county — the Giovanni Caboto Club on Parent Avenue, Willistead Manor and its grounds in Walkerville, the Windsor riverfront and Dieppe Gardens, the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, Caesars Windsor, Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery in Harrow, and the vineyards and lakefront properties out through Amherstburg, Kingsville and Leamington.

We also travel regularly to LaSalle, Tecumseh and Belle River, and cover destination weddings elsewhere in Ontario on request. If you have already booked a venue, tell us which one — the light and the timing work differently at each, and that shapes how we plan your coverage.

Before you book

Wedding questions

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Windsor, Ontario?

Wedding photography with Windsor Photo & Video Co. starts at $795 for half-day coverage, and $1,295 when you want photography and video together. Full-day photo and video coverage starts at $2,195, and multi-day weddings are quoted on the full schedule. Engagement sessions start at $325.

Do you shoot both wedding photography and videography?

Yes. We cover both with one team, which gives you a single timeline, one set of planned angles, and the same colour treatment across your photographs and your wedding film. It also means fewer vendors moving through your ceremony.

How quickly will we get our wedding photos and video?

Delivery timelines are confirmed when you book. Wedding films take longer to edit than photographs, and where both are booked the film follows the gallery.

Which Windsor and Essex County venues do you cover?

We shoot at venues across Windsor and Essex County including the Giovanni Caboto Club, Willistead Manor, the Windsor riverfront, the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, Caesars Windsor and Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, as well as venues in LaSalle, Tecumseh, Amherstburg, Kingsville and Leamington.

Do you photograph South Asian and cultural weddings?

Yes. We cover multi-day and multi-event weddings, including early morning ceremonies and extended family portrait sessions, and plan coverage hours around the full schedule rather than a standard eight-hour day. For Indian, Punjabi and Sikh weddings specifically, see our dedicated Indian wedding photography page.

How far in advance should we book?

Peak season Saturdays in Windsor book earliest, so it is worth checking your date as soon as your venue is confirmed. Shorter notice bookings are often possible, especially midweek and off season. Send your date and we will confirm availability within 24 hours.
