What a session looks like
About an hour, start to finish
A portrait session runs around an hour. We pick a location together beforehand — the Windsor riverfront, Willistead's grounds, a park near you, or your own home if that is where the photographs belong. Then we spend the hour moving, talking and letting things happen rather than arranging people into rows.
Sessions work for maternity and newborn, growing families, couples, graduations, milestone birthdays, and professional headshots. Delivery timelines are confirmed when you book.

How much does a maternity or family photographer cost in Windsor?
A portrait session with Windsor Photo and Video Co. starts at $325 and runs about an hour. That covers maternity, newborn, family, couples and headshot sessions anywhere in Windsor or Essex County. Larger groups, multiple locations and travel beyond the county are quoted on request.
How long is a portrait session and how many photos do we get?
Sessions run roughly one hour. The number of final images depends on how the session goes, but you receive a full set of edited photographs rather than a small selection. Delivery timelines are confirmed when you book.
When is the best time to book a maternity session?
Most maternity sessions are photographed between about 28 and 34 weeks, when the bump is clearly there and moving around is still comfortable. Earlier or later is fine if that suits you better.
Where do portrait sessions take place?
On location across Windsor and Essex County, including the Windsor riverfront, Willistead Manor grounds, local parks and beaches, or in your own home. We agree the spot together before the session.
Do you photograph newborns at home?
Yes. Newborn and first-year sessions are usually easiest at home, at an unhurried pace and on the baby's schedule rather than a fixed clock.
