Indian weddings in Windsor-Essex
An Indian wedding isn't one day with one schedule. We plan for that from the start, not as an add-on to a standard package.
How we work
Real experience with the ceremonies, not just the camera settings
We've photographed and filmed real Sikh and Indian weddings in Windsor-Essex — not just styled shoots — which means we already know the shape of the day before we arrive: the Baraat entrance, the Anand Karaj and the Lavan around the Guru Granth Sahib, or a Hindu Vivaah with its own sequence of rituals, followed by a reception that runs late and loud in the best way.
That matters because these moments move fast and don't repeat. Knowing when the groom's party arrives, where the family stands during the pheras or the Lavan, and how a Sangeet night actually unfolds is the difference between catching a moment and missing it.
What coverage includes
- Coverage planned around your actual multi-day schedule — Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat, ceremony and reception can each be booked separately or together
- Photography, videography, or both from the same team, so every event looks consistent
- Full colour grading across photos and film
- A full ceremony film plus a highlight reel where video is booked
Want the full picture of how we shoot a wedding day, start to finish? See our wedding photography & videography page, or meet the team behind the camera. Not sure what to ask before booking any wedding photographer? Our guide to choosing a wedding photographer and videographer in Windsor covers it.
Ceremonies we cover
Every event of the celebration
Book one event or the full week — each is quoted on its own or as part of a full package.
Mehndi & Sangeet
The color, the henna detail, the choreography rehearsed for weeks — the nights before the wedding are often the most candid of the whole week.
Baraat & ceremony
The groom's arrival, and the main ceremony itself — Anand Karaj, Vivaah, Nikah or another tradition — photographed and filmed with the ritual sequence in mind, not guessed at on the day.
Reception
Entrances, speeches, the first dance, and a reception floor that often runs well past a typical Western wedding timeline. We cover large-scale celebrations the same way we approach any event.

Before you book
Indian wedding questions
Do you photograph Indian, Punjabi and Sikh weddings in Windsor?
Yes. We have photographed and filmed real Sikh and Indian weddings in Windsor-Essex, including ceremonies at local gurdwaras, and we plan coverage around the full sequence of events rather than a single-day format.
Do you cover multi-day events like Mehndi, Sangeet and the Baraat?
Yes. Each event can be booked on its own or together as a full package — Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat and ceremony, and the reception. Tell us which events you want covered and we will quote the full schedule. Planning an engagement shoot too? See our portrait photography page.
How much does an Indian wedding cost to photograph in Windsor?
A single event starts at $795 for photography, or $1,295 for photography and video together. Full multi-day packages covering several events are quoted individually based on your schedule.
Do you know the rituals well enough to know where to stand?
We plan around the ritual sequence in advance with the couple or family — the Baraat entrance, the Anand Karaj and Lavan, or the steps of a Hindu Vivaah — so we know what is coming rather than reacting to it in the moment.
Which gurdwaras and venues in Windsor-Essex do you shoot at?
We shoot at gurdwaras and banquet halls across Windsor, LaSalle and the wider Essex County region, including venues in Amherstburg. If your ceremony is at a specific gurdwara or hall, tell us and we will plan around that space.
How far in advance should we book?
Multi-day South Asian weddings often book further ahead than a single-day wedding, since multiple vendors need to be coordinated across several events. Send your dates as soon as your venues are confirmed and we will hold your event while you finalize the rest.
